What's Happening AUGUST 30, 2010 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 3, 2010. The Greater Plymouth Community Center will be closed for cleaning AUGUST 30, 2010 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 3, 2010. We will reopen on Saturday, September 4th at 8:00am. We will be closed on Monday, September 6th for Labor Day. IMPORTANT NOTICE – LEISURE POOL CLOSURE - UPDATE BELOW 8/13/10 AUGUST 30, 2010 THROUGH OCTOBER 4, 2010. The Leisure Pool will be closed from August 30, 2010 through October 4, 2010 for resurfacing. After 10 years of wear the plaster is starting to deteriorate on the walls and floor of the pool. These repairs must be done in a timely manner to prevent further damage from occurring. The job is extensive and as with all repairs unexpected problems may arise and cause the job to take a longer period than expected. However, we are doing everything in our power to expedite the repairs and reopen the pool as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this necessary repair work. UPDATE - WHIRLPOOL CLOSURE UPDATE 8/13/10: We have been advised to restrict access to the Whirlpool due to the hazardous nature of the Leisure Pool resurfacing. For the safety of our patrons the Whirlpool will be unavailable 9/4 through 9/13. We’re offering a special mid day rate of $8 for those who use the fitness center on Monday thru Friday from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm (must be finished your workout by 3:30 pm). This special rate… …will only be sold from 11 am to 2 pm on Mondays thru Fridays. …will give you access to use the fitness center, gymnasium and locker rooms only. …is for ages 16 yrs or older.
