Can I get a refund for
a recreation program or class?
Because the decision to hold classes is based on enrollment numbers before the first class, refunds will not be issued after the program begins. Participants assume the risk of changes in personal affairs or health.
All requests for refunds must be made before the first class and must be in writing. We may request further documentation if necessary. All refunds include a $8 handling fee and refund checks take 6 to 8 weeks to process.
Since arrangements for trips are made months in advance, we cannot honor refund requests for trips. However, we will be happy to refund your money (minus $8 handling fee) if we have a waiting list for the trip. If no waiting list is available, we suggest you find a replacement for your spot and let us know so we can file the proper paperwork. |
Will I be notified if
I am accepted when I mail or fax my registration?
| We will be happy to notify you if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included. If not, no news is good news. |
Why would my program be
cancelled?
| All Parks and Recreation programs are run assuming minimum numbers are met. If registration does not meet the stated minimum, we will cancel the program a few days before it is set to begin. In this case, participants receive a full-refund. In such instances refunds may take 6 to 8 weeks |
Does the Community Center
