Harriet Wetherill Park is Plymouth's newest, largest and first nature park. A master plan was adopted in early 2007 after an extensive study by Council, staff, citizen volunteers and professional consultants. Interpretive signage is being designed and, beginning in the fall, some invasive plants will be removed and replaced with native trees and shrubs. As funding permits, future plans include stone dust perimeter trails, butterfly garden, bird blind, picnic pavilion, restrooms, better parking and more landscaping.
